    Gee, you nearly got me until I noticed that Stan appeared on the Flintstones 15 years after it ended production.

    The Flintstones returned briefly to prime time in the fall of 1981, Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. Stan looked dashing in leopard spots.

    Oh darn, you’re right: I forgot that TV special! I now remember at the time wondering who the hell this Stonely Newmanite character was supposed to be.

    Thanks for the laugh — and BTW, I’m an old lady suffering from CRS and forgot to TIVO the episode. Does anyone have any information about whether the program runs repeats? We used to watch it , but haven’t for years.
