Kirk, A similar book on tea is a possibility, since there's a rich and fascinating story there as well, but I'm sorry to say nothing is imminent on that front.

Although I've extensively studied coffee consumption statistics and also found many reliable sources that anoint coffee as the world's 2nd most popular drink (behind water), there are indeed some claims that tea deserves that position.

Far more people drink tea than coffee. So it should be the third most popular drink. :-)

Any plans for a tea-themed book for this non-coffee drinker?

I have this book and I love it. It's perfect for coffee nuts like me, or anyone related to a coffee fan. (I'll buy a bunch as stocking stuffers!) I am especially fond of the Merrellesque coffee bean "beings" on the Bean Maze pages. Relatives of Ashen and Noir, perhaps? Congratulations to Pat and Helene who have produced the first REAL coffee table book.
